For my facebook page, I am helping one of my pastors from Salt Lake start a church here in sunny Saint George. We are focused on attracting college students and anyone who has any thought about religion.
For the first person we are trying to attract, we are going after college aged people.
Jordan, who is 19 years old and is in his second year at Dixie State University, is a well rounded kid with no big religious background. He grew up in Utah and was always around the Mormon church but wasn't quite sure it was for him. He has always had a thought of joining a church but couldn't decide which was correct for him. With our chill attitudes on people and our relaxed church environment, Jordan will want to check us out.
Maya, who is 22 years old and a graduate of Dixie State University, is an ex-mormon girl that was raised LDS but decided to leave the church after school. She is not too into religion, but has heard about this church from her friends and wants to get back into some religion that is in her opinion, more correct.
Yolanda is a 45 year old mom of 3. Her kids are all in their teens and are little demon children. They are all raising hell whenever they can and she wants to calm them down. She decides to go to church after seeing an ad on the local tv station that promotes the calmness of the church.
